As a respiratory professional at Hospital Sisters Health System, you will immediately feel the difference that our Franciscan philosophy makes. We are committed to technology leadership and have been responsible for many firsts, but what truly sets us apart is the way we treat our patients and our colleagues. You are not just here to perform procedures – you are a key part of the team, recognized for your efforts and surrounded by a supportive group.
At Hospital Sisters Health System, you'll work with a wide range of patients and acuities, in an environment where respiratory therapists are encouraged to develop, advance their talents and practice in various areas of our hospitals. We'll assign you a mentor and provide orientation, ensuring that you can get involved in all aspects of respiratory care, from general therapeutics to the blood gas lab and critical care.
We offer tuition reimbursement and support for additional coursework to help you continue to grow. In addition, St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois offers a degree program through its School of Respiratory Care.
With us, you'll have room to breathe as you build cherished relationships with colleagues and develop a strong career.
We typically hire registered respiratory therapists at our hospitals, as well as registered polysomnographic technologists for our sleep labs. In fact, we opened the first accredited sleep lab in southern Illinois. As a large System with locations in Illinois and Wisconsin, we offer the potential to move and work within other hospitals.
