St. Joseph's Hospital is committed in investing in our colleagues to ensure that they are at the top of their field in alignment with the services that we provide. Our tuition reimbursement program offers assistance for colleagues to pursue higher education in fields related to their career at St. Joseph's.
We also provide many additional opportunities for personal and professional growth. For example:
- All new colleagues participate in a two-day off-site retreat, which focuses on the history and mission of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis and our Catholic identity, as well as Servant Leadership and service standards
- St. Joseph's Hospital uses the Birkman Method as a personal inventory tool to provide personal and professional growth
- Colleagues participate in Servant Leader retreats that provide continued renewal to our commitment to our Core Values
Scholarships
At St. Joseph's, we are also pleased to provide $1,000 scholarships annually to area residents who have graduated from high school or earned a GED. To qualify, applicants must be pursuing an education in a health-related field and be able to demonstrate their need for assistance. The number of scholarships awarded is determined by the funds available in the Partner's Scholarship Fund.
