At St. Joseph's Hospital, quality health care is not just about advanced technology and amazing new treatments. It's also about people and the application of the ideas, energy and resources. It's about meeting unaddressed needs and treating patients with respect, dignity and empathy. It's about a commitment to caring and a healing spirit. If you share our philosophy, then consider exploring a future with our dynamic organization.
Our family-focused hospital, respected for delivering quality health care since 1885, has been nationally recognized with the Press Ganey Summit Award, two years in a row, for having among the nation's highest inpatient care satisfaction scores. In fact, you could say we specialize in what matters most: the health and well-being of our patients.
In 2010, St. Joseph's opened a new emergency center that is also home to the area's only 24/7 hospital-based urgent care service. We also offer the area's only mobile occupational health clinic that goes onsite providing screenings, wellness and prevention services to thousands of employees in industries and businesses throughout western and northwestern Wisconsin. Home Health/Hospice/Palliative Care is another service that provides care onsite in patients' homes in a multi-county area surrounding Chippewa Falls.
We're a smaller hospital with a big commitment to advanced medicine, and because of our size, we are able to develop a closer connection to patients and practice with the understanding, insight and care that comes from knowing the patient better. Here, colleagues have the opportunity to expand their skill sets into other modalities. It's one of the many reasons our turnover rate is remarkably low, and years of teamwork translates into patient care that is more attentive, personal and genuine.
