What sets St. Mary's Hospital apart from other institutions? We believe it's the wonderful people who serve as shining examples of our mission and Core Values. Each plays a vital role in touching the lives of our patients. This is what makes our colleagues special; this is what makes our hospital and the care we provide unique.
For 125 years, St. Mary's Hospital has been a leading regional health care provider in the Illinois Valley. Our 127-bed acute care facility, located approximately 90 miles southwest of Chicago, offers a comprehensive range of health care services, including 24-hour emergency services, cancer treatment, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, general surgery, home health, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, physical and occupational therapies, same-day surgery and ongoing community and patient education.
The hospital boasts an array of cutting-edge health care technologies, including a new MRI facility and angiography suite in diagnostic imaging. St. Mary's is continually expanding our medical staff with newly trained physicians from recognized residencies in the United States. They, along with other members of our medical team, provide exceptional health care service to the people we serve.
